The Generation Project

I found out about the Generation Project through the British Ceramics Biennial, and joined at the start of this year. The project, based at Spode, is all about passing on ceramics heritage to the next generation of Ceramicists, who then launch events to get the wider public involved. Through a series of weekly workshops, led by Ceramicist Emma Price, we have made agateware, explored mono-printing with slips, photographed the factories, and tried wax resist. You can find Emma's work at: https://www.emmapriceceramics.com/

I've learnt a great deal through a series of hands-on workshops, and you can see some of the work I got up to with the Generation Project and BCB below.
